Exercises such as yoga are specially recommended for stress relief as it can strengthen your body and tone your muscles when practiced regularly.

The present study demonstrates that the long term practice of yoga and meditation leads to a decline in the basal metabolic rate (BMR), and this decline is seen in men and women. You should not be required to make drastic lifestyle changes.
